See AKE Safety Equipment at the McCook Farm and Ranch Expo

AKE Safety Equipment will be a vendor at the McCook Farm and Ranch Expo on November 20th and 21st. The event will be at the Red Willow County Fairgrounds in the Kiplinger Arena at 1412 W 5th Street.  The show is “the place to be for the newest and latest in farm technology and practices.” McCook, Nebraska is in the center of rich farmland and cattle feed lots in SW Nebraska and NW Kansas. The admission and parking for the event is free and open to the public.

The McCook Farm and Ranch Expo showcases the latest technologies in farming equipment, seeding, irrigation machineries and fertilizers which can benefit the farming industry. There will be displays on farm and ranch equipment, chemicals, home services, home furniture as well as information about financial providers, commodity organizations, colleges and government services. There will be over 350 vendors and organizations representing 20 states. AKE Safety Equipment will be at Booth 301 in the Kiplinger Arena. Stop by to see how the STOP-FYRE TM fire extinguisher is the “World’s BEST fire extinguisherTM”. The vendor exposition opens at 9am each morning. The event runs through 7pm on November 20th and 4pm on November 21st.

There are special events and seminars throughout the two day event. There is a working ranch horse sale on November 20th at 6pm.  The horses will be on view during the day of the sale outside the arena. Scott Daily, a professional horse trainer, will be demonstrating his training techniques during both days of the expo. The Red Willow County Health Department is providing flu shots during the expo. There are seminars both days in morning and afternoon sessions. Dave Meissier, from John Deere, will present new agriculture technologies and Mike Peterson, from Orthman Manufacturing and Plains Equipment Group, will discuss the latest in precision tillage. Kurtzer’s Walker Mowers will be demonstrating their mowers on an outdoor obstacle course. There will also be appearances by the SW Nebraska Rodeo Queen and Miss Rodeo Nebraska. There is a free breakfast starting at 7:30am on November 20th before the show opens. There will also be over $5,000 in prizes and giveaways during the show, which does not include a drawing to win a Ruggle Livestock trailer and a Las Vegas trip!
