STOP-FYRE™ Renamed the Official Fire Extinguisher of the NTPA

STOP-FYRE™ once again named The Official Fire Extinguisher of the NTPA

Renamed “The Official Fire Extinguisher” of the National Tractor Pullers Association (NTPA), STOP-FYRE–”The World’s Best Fire Extinguisher”–has gotten even better.

And STOP-FYRE’s relationship with the NTPA has gotten even stronger. The organization has once again named STOP-FYRE as The Official Fire Extinguisher of the NTPA.

“It’s exciting to be recognized by such a respected organization as the NTPA,” says Allen Kronebusch, who owns AKE Safety Equipment, the maker of STOP-FYRE.

The NTPA announcement caps off a year in which STOP-FYRE’s brand, reputation, sales, and dealers have grown (they’ve tripled their number of dealers in the last three months–and still need more).

The company’s growth, and its relationship with the NTPA, come as no surprise to Kronebusch, a firefighter with the Oronoco (Minn.) Fire Department. He’s been continuously improving STOP-FYRE–a compact fire extinguisher filled with a proprietary blend of liquefied gases–for 20 years. And the product’s loyal customers, from farmers to fire chiefs, continues to grow.

“I’ve been in the firefighting business for 17 years, and I believe STOP-FYRE is the world’s best fire extinguisher,” says Mike Yetzer, the Fire Chief in Lonsdale, Minn.

When it comes to being The Official Fire Extinguisher for the NTPA, STOP-FYRE’s size (roughly 12-by-3 inches–perfect for in-cab storage) and its ability to extinguish fires you can’t see directly (like inside an engine or under a hood) make it the perfect safety device for tractor pulls. And STOP-FYRE’s non-corrosive chemical agents mean that you won’t face the expensive repairs caused by the residue left by a dry chemical extinguisher.

“Do you trust your dry chemical extinguisher to put out your fire?” Kronebusch asks. “Do you want that corrosive powder on your engine?”

NTPA officials carry STOP-FYRE during events, and the organization will continue to promote STOP-FYRE through trackside banners, on the LED board, in “The Puller” (the official magazine of the NTPA), on the NTPA website, and in pulling episodes on RFD-TV.

“The NTPA is a great organization, and we’re proud to be a part of it,” says Kronebusch. “STOP-FYRE is here for a bigger purpose–to save livelihoods and save lives. We just want people to get the right fire extinguisher before they have a fire.”
