AKE Safety Equipment July Tradeshows and Tractor Pull Events
AKE Safety Equipment is excited to be attending 5 different events in July. We will be a vendor at 3 agriculture tradeshows as well as attending 2 major tractor pulling events. AKE Safety Equipment will be sharing the many advantages of having our STOP-FYRETM “The World’s BEST fire extinguisherTM” in your home, barn, tractor, or business. New Hampton Iowa Grand National Tractor Pull
The New Hampton Iowa Grand National Tractor Pull will take place July 11th to July 12th at Kenwood Ave. Park in New Hampton, Iowa. The tractor pull was originally organized by Jim and Julie Eckenrod over 20 years ago. It started as a state tractor pull event and has grown so big, that it is now a national pull event. The New Hampton Iowa Tractor Pull was voted the 2011 and 2012 National Tractor Pull Association (NTPA) Grand National Pull of the Year. There will be multiple tractor classes that will be pulling on the 2 tracks during both nights of the competition. The different classes that will be competing include: Light Super Stock, Modified Semis, Stock Diesels, and Limited Pro Stocks. The pulls start at 7pm both nights.
3i Annual Farm Show. Booth I-336
The 60th Annual 3i Agriculture Show runs July 10th to July 12th at the Western Bank Expo Center in Dodge City, Kansas. The show is a salute to agriculture history, implementation, and irrigation. The 3i Show is arranged and organized by Western Kansas Manufacturer’s Association. There are over 500 vendors and exhibitors participating in this year’s show featuring the latest in agriculture equipment, technology and services. AKE Safety Equipment will be at Booth I-336. The show also has seminars sponsored by AgDay and US Farm Report. Chevrolet is offering ride and drive demonstrations of the 2015 Tahoe, Suburban, and 2500 Heavy Duty Silverado. There are also hourly demonstrations of drone technology and how it can help find flaws and changes in the fields. Lisa Johnson will have horse training demonstrations each day of the event. There will also be an antique tractor display, electric safety demonstrations, medical screening tests, and much more. The admission to the 3i Show is free. Lion’s 38th Invitational Tractor Pull
The 38th Annual Lion’s Club Tractor Pull will be at the Lion’s Motor Sport Park in Chapel Hill, Tennessee on July 18th and July 19th. This event, a NTPA sanctioned invitational pull, draws big drivers from all over the Midwest. The Lion’s Club in Chapel Hill was created in 1946 and launched their first tractor pull in 1976. The proceeds of the tractor pull are used to fund sight project charities across Middle Tennessee including the Lion’s Eyebank and Sight Service at Vanderbilt Hospital. There are many tractor classes that will be represented in the tractor pull including Super Stock Tractors, 2-wheel drive trucks, 4-wheel drive trucks, unlimited (multi-engine) tractors, and mini-rod classes. The drivers will be competing for $100,000 in prize money. A fire extinguisher is one piece of safety equipment that is vital to have in each tractor. The STOP-FYRE fire extinguisher is compact, easy to use and will not damage the engine allowing the driver to get back in the competition much quicker.
Four State Farm Show-Booth 14
The Four State Farm Show, sponsored by Farm Talk Newspaper takes place at a 300 acre farm located south of Pittsburg, Kansas. The latest in agriculture technology and agribusiness will be showcased at the show. The founders of the show schedule the event with farmer in mind; holding the show after the wheat harvest and the double crop beans have been planted. There will be water welling demonstrations, haying demonstrations, and lawn mower test drives. This allows the attendees to get a hands-on experience to see how the new technology and equipment works. There will be over 700 booths over 25 acres of the outside event. During the event, there is a daily $1,000 give away at the Farm Talk Booth and $500 give-away at the haying demonstrations. The shop is open 7:30am-3pm Friday and Saturday and 8am to 3pm on Sunday. Michigan Ag Expo-Tent A21
The Michigan Ag Expo will be held at Michigan State University from July 22nd to July 25th. The expo will offer the latest technology in agriculture products and current research findings from faculty at Michigan State University’s College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Over 8,000 people attend this event. There are over 200 exhibitors showcasing the latest tractor models, seed varieties, seed sprayers, and dairy equipment. There is a full schedule of educational seminars and demonstrations to help farmers manage their farm and their businesses. Some of the topics of the seminars include grain bin and auger safety, composting, stock dog handling, and equine and pasture management. There is also a tractor drive and ride event for various tractor and trucks. The hours of the show are 7:30am to 3:30pm daily.
