How many years will STOP-FYRE® last?

We have customers who have units they purchased from us over 30 years ago which are still in working condition, and these units have never been serviced. We also put a Lifetime No-Hassle Guarantee™ on it, so if it ever leaks or breaks, we replace it. End of story.

Which classes of fire is STOP-FYRE® effective on?

STOP-FYRE® is effective on class A, B, C, and K fires.

Do I get insurance benefits from purchasing STOP-FYRE®?

A large amount of our customers have reported that they get discounts on their premium and will even get their refills paid for by their insurance company! Check with your insurance provider to see what they can do.

Can I refill my STOP-FYRE®?

Yes, our refill process is simple. Give us a call at (800) 586-1639 and our customer service team will schedule a pickup to get your units shipped to our headquarters. If your unit is completely empty, we will send you a brand new unit at the refill price.

Will leaving STOP-FYRE® in a cold environment negatively affect the unit?

No. Temperature has no long-term mnegative effects on our extinguishers. We manufacture our extinguishers in Minnesota and have thousands of customers in very cold climates that love STOP-FYRE® because of its range of use and durability. STOP-FYRE®’s operating temperature is -40℉ to 120℉.

Can I use my STOP-FYRE® extinguisher more than once?

Yes. STOP-FYRE® is a multi-shot fire extinguisher and can be used multiple times on different fires. However, we recommend that you refill your unit after each use because you never know how big your next fire will be.
